I've got another Doctor Who inspired nail art mani to show off today! I wanted to do nail art based on my favorite Doctor Who episode, The Doctor Dances (part 2 from The Empty Child)! I wanted to show Jamie/The empty child's gas mask face and the wonderful little Nanogenes causing all the fuss!!!

I started with ONE coat of China Glaze Stone Cold as my base color(matte finish charcoal/black with silvery pewter shimmer all up in it).... this is an awesome awesome awesome polish if you do not have it, I suggest getting it (it is also from the Hunger Games Capitol Colours collection)! Once dry I painted a swirl of China Glaze Electrify (yellowish and bright orange glitter in a clear base), to be the Nanogenes, on my little finger, then I used China Glaze Cheers To You (foil-finish metallic silver) for the details of the lenses and mouth filter of the gas mask, and the other detail of the top of the gas mask and part of the hair at the tip I used OPI Skull & Glossbones (glossy grey/white).
ok so for some reason when i post a blog from my phone the images blur... someone just let me know this so when I get on the computer tonight I will make sure to put up the actual clear pictuers! GAHHH way to go blogger app!
I'm thinking Weeping Angels and Daleks next?! YES YES YES!!!

ReplyDeleteOh yes very creepy! I remember being freaked out the first time I saw this episode, but it soon became a favorite of mine. You really can't resist those adorable nanogenes haha
