Thanks for the giveaway! I have purchased the trilogy but have not yet started to read the books. I'm hoping to get to them this week as I will be on vacation. (Yay!)
As for my favorite book, I don't think I have one. I don't know that I have ever read a book twice. I like reading fiction, and have found that I enjoy vampire series. I hope that is good enough!
I love reading! My favorite character is for sure, PEETA. When you read, you will see why :) It is a very captivating trilogy so it will be read in no time, whether you are a big reader or not!
I just started reading The Hunger Games a couple days ago. So far Katniss is my favorite character, but that's to be expected since I haven't read far enough for other characters to be fully developed. :)
Loved Katniss and Peeta for obvious reasons. If I were to choose someone else, I liked Johanna a lot! She made me laugh a lot in book 3. I just reread the books for the 2nd time, just because they are so amazing!
peeta, he's such a sweet ♥ when katniss and peeta threat to kill themselves by the end of the hunger games if they don't let them both live :D btw i'll say this again, this polish is gorgeus cas!!!
yay another peeta lover! hehe effie is just the sweetest villain ever i love her to bits! check out http://thecapitol.pn/ it gives you a tour of the capitol city!
I haven't read any Hunger Games books yet but I'm sure gonna!! My favorite books are all by the Hush Hush Saga from Becca Fitzpatrick!! A must read for sure!! Thank you for the giveaway!!
I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES! I soo love EfFie and that pink wig, but my favorite character is definitly A tie between Peeta and Rue. (wow, am I indecisive!)
My hubby and bffs are going to see the movie on Friday, so I need to start reading the book! lol Everyone is telling me I will love Katniss, so I'll say her. Thank you for the giveaway! :o)
I love the moment when Katniss receives the mockingjay pin from Madge. I thought that was more significant than it was when it was mentioned and how it was almost downplayed.
Peeta and Katniss are obvious favorites for me, but a less obvious one is Finnick. I enjoy the deeper/ darker feelings and situations he brought to the books.
I have yet to read the books, the movie looks interesting thought. I keep waiting to hookup with someone to loan it to me for my nook color. looks like Im going to have to purchase. :) I am loving this polish. Gotta have it!!
I'm definitely going to say Peeta, however i also tend to bond more closely to female characters so Katniss is definitely there too. Probably about time to read them again. xx Thanks for the chance.
I live in Germany and I must admit I've never heard of The Hunger Games until the China Glaze collection came out. I have yet to read them to learn more about it. :)
I have not read this series...one of my fave stories of all time is "The Stand" by Stephen King. I read it when it first was published. I could not put it down & wound up calling in work so I could finish reading it! I hope it has not been changed, the movie was too different from the book, one really needs to read the story to get all the details!
My favourite character is Katniss! Throughout the series, we may admire Katniss’ wit and courage, but we must have noticed, more or less, that Katniss never lets her emotions to betray her true feelings. She knows that appearances can be deceiving, and growing up in a community like District 12 makes her constantly suspicious and alert, which is why we only know the Katniss she shows us – a facade of the real her. We see Katniss as someone who would do anything to survive, but in the end, she is willing to sacrifice herself to protect her loved ones.
I am not really a fan but that is I honstly have not heard about the books until the movie started being promoted. I want to give them a chance. My favorite book(s) are the Harry Potter Series and the Twilight series!!!
I've never read the books, but I plan on it! It seems really interesting. I'm a Harry Potter nerd, so my favourite book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Yeah... I had never even heard about the Hunger Games books until the ChG collection came out and everyone started talking about Districts! O__o Ha! But... I guess my favorite book would be Good Omens. It's a satire and insanely funny! Love it.
I'm still waiting for the trilogy to be delivered to me(( As for my favorite book? No way I can choose only one book)) Let it be the Ancient Future Trilogy by Traci Harding...
For me, I love the books (and so many other books) because they're an escape. The last year as been super tough for me, the hardest I've had in my short 23 years. I would take late night trips to Walmart a couple of times a week to get out of the house and just spend the little money I had on books. The characters in the books are facing tasks far more extreme than anything I've ever experienced, they helped me gain strength, because if they can survive, why can't I? The books have been a refuge for me, allowing me to slip into another world and forget my own problems for a bit. For that, I'm grateful.
I haven't read enough of The Hunger Games yet to have a favorite character... so, one of my favorite books is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... it's hilarious but it has been a while since I read it... must re-read!
I know this makes me a huge dork but I love the Harry Potter books, and the Twilight book, big fan of the Anita Blake series and the Sookie Stackhouse books.
Ok so I like books. ;0) love the blog hope I win!!! :0)
